Kris Richardson joined the Online Stores family in April of 2010 when he was brought in as an agency employee working as the accounting clerk. Kris was hired in as an Online Stores employee in July once his probationary period ended. Kris now holds the position of Staff Accountant.
Kris graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh. During his four years at Pitt-Greensburg, he played soccer at the position of full back (defender) for Pitt. He ranks 2nd for most games played during a career, trailing his good friend by 1 game. During his sophomore and senior seasons; Kris and his team made it to the NCAA tournament. Also while at Pitt, he worked as a math tutor to his fellow students and did school maintenance in the summer months.
Prior to coming to OLS, Kris worked for the Pepperwood Grille located in Greensburg for a period of 5 years, being Restaurant Manager for the last 3 of them. Restaurant Management wasn’t a good career to be in when starting a family, as the 65-70 hours per week left him little home time. He looked for employment elsewhere and found an ad for Online Stores. In addition to his employment here, he is employed at the Sunset Café in Greensburg, serving on the weekends. Kris also works at H&R Block completing individual tax returns during tax season!
Kris states that one of his favorite things here at Online Stores is the $.25 chips in the employee vending machine. “Bring on the Salt & Vinegar.”
Kris hopes to finish his accounting degree in the near future and obtain a real estate license. His hobbies include playing the guitar and playing soccer & hockey (both ice and inline). He has been a season ticket holder for the Pittsburgh Penguins for the last 7 years. He enjoys going to the park and zoo with his 2 daughters, Addy, who will be 3 this month, and Kennadee who just turned 1. He and his wife Tiffany will celebrate 5 years of marriage in July, but have been together for a period of 13 years, as they were high school sweethearts! Thank you Kris!
