Victoria Cochran joined Online Stores June 29, 2012 as our very first Social Media Coordinator. Prior to working at Online Stores, Victoria attended Point Park University where she majored in Advertising/Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism. While there, she was a Residence Hall Adviser and part of the Universities’ cheerleading squad. She completed an internship with the Rivers Club during her last semester of college, writing press releases, and coordinating and publicizing events.
After graduating, she worked as a receptionist and front end manager at Alta Villa Spa and Salon in downtown Pittsburgh. Once she left there she worked as a Bank Teller/Banker for Citizens Bank. Prior to coming to Online Stores, she worked for Douglas Education Center as an admissions representative and recruiter. There she was able to promote the school through social media and marketing, and other public events.
Here at Online Stores, she is responsible for all of the social media for the company, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google +, and all of the blogs. She has quickly expanded the company’s reach through social media outlets, and gained more interaction with customers outside of the traditional realm.
When she isn’t working, Victoria likes to work out and run, particularly before work hours. She ran in the 2011 Dick’s Sporting Goods Half Marathon (13.1 miles), and hopes to eventually run a full marathon (26.2 miles). She also enjoys cooking and baking, especially when it involves cinnamon! When she has some down time, she enjoys reading mystery novels and action series. In addition, she likes taking road trips. Her favorite place to visit is Philadelphia because of its rich history. Thanks Victoria!
