November’s employee of the month is Mindy Richards, our Custom Products Supervisor. In October of 2007, Mindy started working with Online Stores through Adecco. In January, she was hired as a full time Customer Service Representative.
Married to her husband Joey in June of 2007, the couple just bought their first house in Carbon with their two tabby cats Amber and Harley. In her spare time, Mindy enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, playing piano, pencil drawing, and going to watch races.
Mindy’s job duties include helping customers with custom orders by answering questions and sending them quotes and proofs, working with Customer Service and the Graphics Department to make sure the orders are correct, working with vendors in the US, China, and Canada to ensure orders are done and shipped on time, and quality checking the flags when they come in. One night a week, Mindy also works as closing Customer Service Supervisor.
Prior to working at OLS, Mindy graduated from Connellsville High School in 1998 and was a Logistics Team Leader at Target. When asked about the most difficult part of her job, Mindy said that juggling all the customers and making sure they are answering every inquiry quickly is a little frustrating, while the most rewarding is when she gets emails and pictures from customers expressing how happy they are with the finished product.
