Representing the office Employee of the Month for February is Ryan Alcorn. Ryan has been with Online Stores since September, 2012 in the Sales Department as an account executive working with wholesale customers. Prior to coming to OLS, Ryan worked for Verizon Wireless for five years as both a sales representative and an inventory control specialist. He had also spent some time in Verizon Wireless’s call center located in Cranberry, PA. After deciding he was ready for something a little different, he came to Online Stores.
Ryan was selected as this month’s employee of the month for the outstanding effort he put into securing the sale of 150,000 of The United States Flag Store’s stick flags to the 57th Presidential Inaugural Committee. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure the transaction and delivery went very smoothly so that they would be delivered on time for the inauguration ceremony for President Barack Obama. Those flags were passed out to the crowd across the National Mall on Monday, January 21, 2013, and seen by thousands of viewers across the nation.
Outside of work, Ryan, a Greensburg native, is a big fan of the local sports teams. If there isn’t a game on, though, he is actively preparing for the arrival of his first child, a baby girl, which should be here any day!
